Terms of Service
These terms cover MakeReel, the Telegram bot @makemyreel_bot. MakeReel is operated by RAPOLLO (UEN 53533465J), a sole proprietorship registered in Singapore ("we", "us"). When you tap Accept in the bot, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use MakeReel
You must be at least 18 years old. Telegram's own terms also apply to your use of Telegram and of Telegram Stars.
2. What MakeReel makes
MakeReel makes a short vertical video with music from your photos, using AI models run by our providers. It shows you a plan and the price before you pay. There are three kinds of video:
- 🎉 Celebration and 💛 Memories: you send 1 to 10 photos and may add one line. Every photo is in the video. The first photo comes alive for a few seconds; each other photo is shown as it is, with a gentle zoom. The video has captions and music, and may have a title. These videos animate your photos as they are; they don't put anyone in a new scene.
- ✨ Make 1 photo live: you send one photo and write your idea (or let MakeReel pick one). MakeReel makes an 8-second video in which the photo turns into your idea, with music and, if you choose, captions. Every one of these videos carries a visible "Made with MakeReel · AI" mark.
Captions and titles are written by AI and may be playful. There is no speech or voice.
AI-made video varies from one try to the next. Your video is not real footage, and it can show changes from your photos, including in how people look.
3. Consent: your photos and the people in them
You are responsible for having the consent of everyone in the photos you send to have their photo used and animated by MakeReel, and, for ✨ Make 1 photo live, to be shown in the scene you ask for. For a child, that consent must come from their parent or guardian. Only send photos you have the right to use.
Don't use MakeReel to mock, embarrass, or deceive about anyone, and don't present a video as real footage of something that didn't happen. If someone makes a claim against us because you didn't have their consent, or because of how you used a video, you are responsible for that claim.
4. What you can't ask for
Do not send photos or words meant for:
- nudity, sexual content, or "undressing" anyone, of any age;
- anything that sexualises, endangers, or harms a child;
- a public figure or celebrity, or deceptive political or news content;
- hate, harassment, extremism, violence, or dangerous acts;
- anything illegal, or anything that breaks someone else's rights.
✨ Make 1 photo live has its own rules, set by the youngest person in the photo:
- Adults can go to new places, wear costumes, and do harmless things: an astronaut, surfing a giant wave, dancing with a dragon. Not: kissing or romance, violence or injury, crime, drugs or drunkenness, humiliation, a change to their body, weight, skin colour, gender, or age, death or illness, or anything that could pass as real news or a real compromising moment.
- Children, and anyone in a photo with a child: only gentle fantasy, such as flying, a superhero cape, a friendly dinosaur, space, a magic forest, or a toy coming alive. Not: any change to a child's body, clothes (a costume over them is fine), or age; danger or fear; water, a bath, a beach, or swimwear; an adult added who touches them; romance.
- Animals and photos without people can go into any playful idea. An animal is never hurt.
- A photo with more than 3 faces can't be brought to life.
Every request is checked automatically before anything is made. We may refuse a request that looks like any of the above, or that we can't be sure about. A request refused before you pay costs nothing. We may pause or suspend an account that keeps sending refused requests. The AI model that makes the video has its own safety checks and sometimes refuses an ordinary photo; section 6 says what happens then.
5. Prices, the free preview, and promotions
You pay in Telegram Stars, through Telegram. The price is on the button and on the invoice before you pay. A Celebration or Memories video is priced by how many photos it has. ✨ Make 1 photo live has one price.
Each Telegram account may get one free preview, ever, for a Celebration or Memories video: the first photo coming alive, silent and watermarked. Free previews are limited each day, so one may not be available when you ask. ✨ Make 1 photo live has no free preview.
We may offer some people a promotional price. A promotional price is marked "promo" on the button and the invoice, may end on a set day or when the day's promotions are used up, and never changes an invoice you have already been sent.
6. Refunds
- If your video can't be made, every Star comes back.
- If the AI model refuses to bring the first photo of a Celebration or Memories video to life, we try another of your photos. If that can't be done either, you get the video with every photo shown as it is, and every Star comes back. If it refuses your ✨ Make 1 photo live photo, every Star comes back and you can try another photo.
- You can cancel for a full refund until making starts. Once making has started, cancelling doesn't refund. The bot says this before you pay.
- After your video arrives you have 48 hours to check it. Each video has one free Fix for the part that came alive: pick what's wrong with it (for example a face that doesn't look right, someone extra, words or a logo, a glitch, or, for ✨ Make 1 photo live, an idea that barely happens). We look at that part again, and if we agree it's broken, we remake it for free.
- A New take remakes the part that came alive with a fresh try, for a price shown before you pay. The same refund rules apply to it.
- Apart from the Fix, a delivered video is final. A video that was refunded in full has no Fix or New take.
Telegram refunds a whole invoice or nothing, so every refund returns all the Stars you paid for that invoice, to your Telegram account. For payment help, send /paysupport to the bot. These rules do not take away any right you have under the law.
7. Your video
The video is yours to keep and to use for any lawful purpose, within section 3. We claim no rights in it, and we don't use it for anything except delivering it to you. Don't remove or hide the "Made with MakeReel · AI" mark on a ✨ Make 1 photo live video.
We delete the clips and the finished video from our storage 7 days after they are made (see the Privacy Policy), so save the video from your Telegram chat.
8. Feedback
You can send us feedback from the bot's Menu. We read it to improve MakeReel and may use your ideas without owing you anything. Feedback isn't a way to ask for a refund: use /paysupport for that.
9. The service
MakeReel may be paused, limited (for example by daily limits), or changed. If we can't make a video you paid for, section 6 applies. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
10. Liability
MakeReel is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, our total liability for any job is the Stars you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we publish a new version here, and the bot asks you to accept it before your next video.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore decide any dispute.
